1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the BigBytes app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
BigBytes is built for students and staff on campus. You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the platform, and you're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure.
3. Orders & Payments
Orders placed through BigBytes are sent directly to the selected vendor for preparation. Prices, availability, and preparation times are set by individual vendors and may change without notice. Payment can be made via Mobile Money or cash on delivery for selected vendors. Once a vendor accepts an order, cancellations are not guaranteed.
4. Delivery
Deliveries are carried out by student riders within the campus and immediate surrounding hostels. Estimated delivery times are approximate and can vary with vendor preparation time, weather, and rider availability. BigBytes is not liable for delays outside its reasonable control.
5. Vendor Responsibility
Vendors listed on BigBytes are independent businesses responsible for the quality, safety, and accuracy of the food and menu information they provide. BigBytes facilitates the connection between students, vendors, and riders but does not prepare the food itself.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform — this includes placing fraudulent orders, abusing riders or vendors, or attempting to interfere with the normal operation of the app. Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BigBytes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including issues with food quality, delivery delays, or third-party vendor conduct.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our service. Continued use of BigBytes after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
